We are very thankful for our small group and all of the stories they have told us about their own children. Your stories keep coming to our mind and reminding us that our children are very typical four and seven year olds...except that we can't understand them. Whether they are climbing the future, begging for one last drink before bed, or whining, or getting into trouble, or just being ornery and cute...your stories have helped us remain patient and calm and have helped us laugh. Sometimes I say to Trevor, "Remember _______ is doing the same thing right now in his house." Then we laugh and deal with the issue at hand with grace and truth.
