See our post from March 5. This certain advantage is ending. Dayana understands nearly everything we say these days. She can't talk back in English but she definitely catches most of the conversation. Often she asks about something later - especially when she is concerned because she didn't fully understand.
We are looking forward to this new stage of clearly communicating to one another in English. It has been fun to be able to talk in front of them about gifts or trips and not worry that they will understand but we are excited to leave this "advantage" behind.
